We are teaching these classes.
Each class is a one day, two to three hour class and all supplies, tools, and stones are furnished. Students do not need to bring anything to the classes.
Pewter Casting
Learn pewter casting from molding to casting. Students will cast their own lead free pewter hummingbird and flower into rubber molds. We will teach about metals, how they are mined, what alloys are, and what pewter is. Each hummingbird also has a ring on it between the wings for hanging.
Simple Silversmithing
Make your own sterling silver pendant! Soldering, metals, stone setting and polishing will be taught. Students will design their own sterling silver wire pendant with a faceted birthstone. Mr. Norris will then solder the pendant and polish it, so you can wear it on a 20 inch Sterling Silver chain!
Simple Rock Wrapping
Students will learn how to make simple pendants using wire bending techniques on Sterling Silver and copper wire, stones and the copyrighted Rock Wraps. Each student will make a copper link chain for one of their copper creations and give a 20 inch Sterling Silver Chain for the silver project.
Pine Needle Casting
Cast a sterling silver pendant into pine needles! We will melt Sterling Silver and you will pour it into pine needles. No two are ever a like. Mr. Norris will solder a bail onto your pine needle casting, so you can wear it home on a 20 inch SS chain.

Come, make your own sterling silver pendant, and have some fun!
Class includes all tools, supplies, stones and Silver for the class.
Simple Silversmithing Class, First Saturday of each month starting in October, 1 PM to 4 PM
Although this is just an introductory class, we will discuss the tools, supplies and soldering techniques necessary to begin Silversmithing. You will design your own sterling silver pendant and choose a stone of many different colors. You will set the stone and after polishing your pendant, wear it home on a 20 inch Sterling Silver chain!

Pine Needle Casting Activity

Pine Needle Casting Activity, Third Saturday of each month beginning in September, 1 PM to 4 PM
We will melt pure Silver (almost a full half ounce) and you will pour it into a bundle of pine needles. Then you look through the needles and find your pendant! Everyone is different, one of a kind piece. Don will solder on a bail for the chain, polish them before placing them on a 20” Sterling Silver chain.
No two are ever alike, and we never know what you will get, but we will make sure you have a good one!

Pewter Casting Class
Come and learn something that is exciting, educational and something that most people never get to see or do.
Cast metal, pewter hummingbirds and flower!
Pewter Casting Class, Fourth Saturday of each month beginning in September, 1 PM to 4 PM
Learn to cast metal, pewter hummingbirds! In this workshop you will cast your own pewter hummingbirds and flower using our lead free "American" Fine Pewter. This pewter will stay a shiny silver color forever, even if displayed outdoors! You can hang one hummingbird using a ring between the wings as a sun catcher or ornament. The other hummingbird can be placed in the flower to complete this beautiful sculpture. Children under 5 are welcome to come and cast a train or rose for free with an adult student.
