The turquoise below was selected at random from the first 300 slabs cut from an investment of two weeks of mining at Royston Mines owned by the Otteson family in Tonopah, Nevada. The mine owners enter into a venture for $5,000.00 per week of mining at several of their mines. All the usable material is then divided between the mine (20%) and the investor (80%). I have purchased two, two week mining ventures, and the Otteson's believe we can do one more two week venture before the end of the year. These stones are from thee first day of slabbing the "saw rock" collected during the first two weeks of mining. I put together 10 people that joined me in the venture. Each of these people will receive 100 finished stones from these two weeks of mining. I believe that it is a fair sample of what each partner will receive. These stones were cut by myself and Duffy, Dean Otteson's nephew. All have a good polish and are ready for setting or wire wrapping. For each of these 10 investors their 100 stones should not cost them anything. After cutting all the 100 stones for each partner I will divide them equally among the 10 people as described in the contract, I will keep cutting stones from the material collected for these two weeks and will put them on E-bay, and other web avenues to sell enough to recoup our initial investment. I will be cutting 20 to 100 stones each week. I will also be selling them in person during all the classes that I teach in person.
